3/1 Skyline 21m

Postby Kenny » Fri Mar 01, 2013 11:17 pm

Arrived around 1 pm to 15 mph winds. Winds were WSW all afternoon. Snow conditions and coverage are excellent. We rode Bosco, the playground between the ridges, the east ridge and the cool depression located at the south end of the east ridge. That was the real gem of the day it is a sweet terrain park with curving hills and canyons. It the uplift was perfect so you could fly it or ride it. It was a rare treat!

There were no hard, crusty areas, just cream and some pow everywhere. Bluebird day and very consistent wind all afternoon. Thanks to Marc for snagging my board that I accidentally left behind.

On the days when the wind is so light that you can't leave Bosco you think that the Skyline riding area is small. On a day like today with excellent wind and coverage, I realize that it is vast with many more hidden gems.
