4/10 skyline 15m

Fred and I got there at about 12:30 to what seemed like good wind and great snow. Ryan was there and had just finished pumping up a 16. I went out on my 15m and Fred on his 21 but we didn't last too long as it was super gusty. There were multiple times when a fast lull then a gust would bow-tie or invert my kite instantly. The snow was, however, amazing. 6-7 inches of wind packed powder on top of a firm base. The 0-25mph winds had us packing it up in short order. Fred and I ended up going down to the reserve where we kited the rest of the afternoon on the same kites. The wind was still gusty but much less so. The snow at the reserve was more spring - like without the fluffiness at the ridge. Surprising what a difference little bit of altitude made.
