First session of the year turned out pretty good. First time on the new Maui Sails MS2 7.5. I was thinking that the wind would pick up a little more so I rigged it with a lot of downhaul and outhaul. It was real good in the higher gusts, but I was to lazy to come in and take some downhaul off. It is an awsome sail, very well balanced and super stable. The water at Utah Lake is a lot warmer than I thought it would be. A couple of the kiters were wearing shorty wetsuits, and I was very comfortable in my full suit and booties. Really a nice afternoon!!
