7/27 9m Sherman Island

Another fun day at Sherman Island. There were a lot of people out riding because it was a weekend (Saturday) and the wind was pretty strong. I had plenty of power on my 9m and rode about 1.5 miles upwind. I saw a bunch of folks who were paying for boat taxi rides upwind and then riding their surfboards for somewhat epic downwinders. I just had fun boosting in the swell. I did not spend much time riding in the flat water or jumping the weeds like I did last week.

What a great place with tons of friendly folks and a great community. Definitely filled my stoke. I'm all done with SF/bay area for now but next time I come down I wouldn't mind giving Waddell Creek a try. If I can only figure out how to get my surfboard on the plane...
