Late start by G'ville standards, but there was plenty to last the morning. Followed gf J (4.7) and G'ville Mayor Ken O., who both got on about 8:30. I hit it a little later and immediately got white-knuckled 6.5 rippers right outta da chute. In spite of the mixed metaphor here (rodeo and sailing), the water was smooth and the wind pretty darn steady. Flattened sails as it kept building until 10:00 or so. There were still lots of rides when we quit at 11:30, later than I've been out in a while.

Lake is low, but still wide enough to let us stay upwind, even with the south wind making tacks perpendicular to the shore. Except for one boat of fishermen and their kids, just the three of us out. Yahoos all around!
