About as good as DC ever gets! The wind sprang up at about 12:45. A few pauses, but for the most part quite strong and steady by DC standards. George and I shared the lake with Mike Egan, John Freed and about a million kiters, many of whom motored upwind to the IB area and beyond. The wind backed off rapidly beginning about 3:00, then returned around 4:00, but gustier and not as strong. Surface water temp in the shallows is still about 57ºF.

Good day. Well powered 12m with a little bit of trim pulled. as Jim said, very smooth for DC and about a million kites at DCAB - ok, maybe 20 or so, but a lot for this time of year. Got a new line mount for my camera and gave that a try today. Nothing too exciting, and i need to look into some software that rotates for transitions, but here's a first whack at filming and editing with it. Special guest appearance by peter miller.
