Sulpher Creek 23-24

The weather did not help much with the campout this year. we headed up friday after work in the rain, setup in the rain, and watched it rain all friday night. Luckily a few other campers showed, to hang out in the trailer and have a Margarita, and watch it rain. Linda and I were happy to have the company. Sat. brough a few more brave campers, and windsurfers for the day. One of the highlights was that Cassie, who is Marty Lowe's daugher, brought her family up to camp, and hangout for the night. She had some great "Marty" stories, and for me, since I didn't know too much about the dad side, it was great to hear, what a great dad he was.

Saturday Doug, Josh, and Peter braved the cold. When I looked at the temp with the wind chill, it showed 44 degrees. everyone got rides and had a good time. Sat night was traditional campfire (thanks Tom Whittke, for bringing all the firewood) and smores.

Sunday was a bit warmer, wind came up about noon. Linda and I sailed 6.5 and 7.2 for me. Gusts were strong, with some scary fast rides. As we were packing up the wind seemed to steady out quite a bit, but we had to go.

Thanks for the post. I was wondering how it went. Sorry to miss out this year but had other commitments.
