Averaged 23g28 for the morning making for some great sailing. Glad I didn’t look at the wind meter while I was driving out as the last wind reading on the web when I got there was NW9g9; I would have turned around and gone home. Started rigging the 6.0 but changed and went with the 7.0 and the little Gorge board. That allowed me to fire out of the turns on a plane and not lose any upwind position. Absolutely lit for 2 hours, then went north suddenly again at 11:15 while I was wolfing down some Oreo’s. Attitude is everything when the lake gets this narrow although it helped that the wind direction allowed me to sail corner to corner. It is only too narrow if you think it is. The shrinking lake reminds me of my neighbor who used to water ski on a lake just south of Rush. Each run they shortened the rope until you couldn’t turn anymore. We aren’t there yet. We can now see where all the dirt went from the beach as it settled where the current water line is making for a muddy entry, although not the nightmare that UL is right now. And the water is way cleaner. Sweet morning.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
