I got out of town sooner than expected and arrived at Mona at 10:45.It was looking really steady and strong. 2 guys trying to fish there said it had been blowing like that all morning. Plus it was coming straight out of the south and filled in all across the lake. I put my 5.2 Loft Lip on a 105 lt. board. It was the perfect call for me and I got 2 sessions (about 45 mins each) before it started to clock @ to the S.W.and was getting more gusty, holey. When I saw all the dust coming up from the south and smoke on the water on the other side,I packed it up. The air was warm and the water cold and it felt good to get out again. When I left,it was nuking and I got great gas mileage on the way home. There must have been a wreck on I-15. I had to get off at Spanish Fork and go thru town to avoid it. Hope to see you all soon. Tom W.
