Ken, Patrick, Josh and I spent a wild and wooly morning at Grants. Ken started on a 5.2, realized after one pass that wasn't going to work... The rest of us just started with 4.2ish sails. Easily could have been on smaller sails. Wind was wildly gusty, my wind meter read a high of 49.9mph. Blowing dust, sand, etc. On several reaches you could not see the sailors on the other side of pond due to the dust. BUT, for the most part we all had a really good time. No injuries, no broken gear, etc.! (just sore shoulders, arms, etc.) I'm with Duane... haven't had wind like that for awhile... and it does bring back memories of Rush!!!!
