arrived at 11:30 to very little wind due to thick cloud cover, but after 30 min. or so sky cleared and wind returned with force, 20-25 gusts to 40 so I rigged 5.7 and 100L board, but was way over ,made 4 or 6 reaches and had to come in and rig down to 4.7 , that seemed to be about right most the time, but there were many gusts and lulls making it very challenging plus this is day six in a row!!!!!! Don't get that very often at deer creek. An excellent start to September, but beware of the Shemitah on the 13th, it could bring unknown chaos, so get it while you can

5.0 for me, but I had a big board 157l. A real hand full at times but still fun. Thunder storm came through at just after 2. George left, but I hung around to see if it would come back. It did, but was even more gusty and really swirling at IB. I decided to call it a day.
