Lessee, it's 78 degrees and I'm on a 3.7. Where am I? Maui? Gorge? Rio Vista? Nope, somewhere else, amidst uncrowded, unspoiled beauty - and, killer seafood and Cajun music in the bars. Where? The Iles de la Madeleine and boy, is it windy! After wanting to get here for a looonng time, I finally made it. (Took 15 years plus 2 days of travel to get here.) 5.0 on Saturday, 3.7 today. Was too beat to go out and wave ride later in the 1/2-mast-high surf. (Also needed an 80-something-liter board which I didn't have along.) Oh well, maybe later in the week ...
