Hoping beyond hope, given the very cool temps and clouds, for some rides at DCIB. Windline showed up at 1:30, all 2-3 mph of it. Left at 2:45 from a limp flag at the DC kiosk. But the stellar Heber valley fall colors, and the pastries from the cool coffee shop in Midway made the trip OK. Plus seeing George and his little girl biking near his house!

The wind did pick up a bit after you left, but not by much. I got out on my 8.5 at about 4 and managed to plane a few times, but just barely. You didn't miss much as far as sailing was concerned.
