Kind of a repeat of yesterday only 2 sail sizes smaller. Winds 20g35 when I got there and 27g45 when I quit at noon. Everything the little 86L race board and 4.7 could handle and much more at times. Biggest waves I had seen on Grants in a while but, with the wacky gusts whipping the sail all over and disturbing the waves, had more fun with the conditions yesterday. Water brutal cold but only went down once, what an incentive to make jibes. Still in my 5/4 wetsuit! Ended up without my phone (or billfold) so wasn’t sure if anyone else was coming. A fellow named Jason showed up and said he wanted to start windsurfing again but he hadn’t brought any equipment. Just like last year, I managed to get 2 December sailing days but it feels like day 102 is probably the last for the year. Let’s hope for lots of snow to get our lakes filled back up. Merry Christmas.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
