Seems like a wind dry spell is coming so I just hoped Grants would work. Got there at 9:00 to decent little windlines. Was getting some nice rides for 45 minutes then the black clouds opened up. 1st light rain, then heavy rain, then when I was 30 yards from shore a sleet storm. When it stopped I figured I had better pack up before it started again. But once I was ready to leave the dark clouds veered away and the sun came out. But the wind had died so I headed back to town anyway. Almost rigged my sail on a bird nest in the grass that had 3 eggs. Add to that about 100 small ducks on the water and 2 cormorants spreading their wings to dry and you have to love Grants.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
