Good gathering of the usual suspects, including John Freed, Ken, Grant, with the addition of John and Trevor D. and Kevin ____ and some others. Great seeing Trevor sailing again. What a stud, just came back from skiing Mt. Shasta ("8 hours up and 35 min. down" he told me) and now sailing in style at our little cow pond in the whitecaps.
A number of people on 6.0 at first, but not planing much. Mike E. doing cool heli-tack/board 360s with his board seemingly underwater, using a 5.2 (how does he do that?) Ken O. was just rigging a 7.0 and I paid heed. 7.5 turned out to be the call for me. Good sailing with much planing and some big gusts. Still doing that when we left around 12:00. Water highest I've sailed it in years, a bit cool to spend time in, but even a shorty seemed to work for some folks with the warm wind and sun. Yay G-ville!

Does anyone know how to contact the kiter that was at Grants Saturday. John found a kiters harness on the fence and sent it home with me. Mike thinks he just moved here from Pensylvania. If you have any info cal me at 801-571-8740. Ken

Ken, the kiters name is Elliot. If anyone knows any contact info, for him let Ken know! BTW Elliot knows his stuff! Not easy launching a kite at GVille, especially with12 big RV`s lined up along the fence line where we launch. never seen it so crowded :oo
