No one was predicting any wind but there it was as soon as I pulled in. It was only 63 when I got there so I pictured all the wind coming from Bart’s “race of the falling barometers”. KSL and Weather.com predictions for today showed the High this morning to the NW (no Grants wind) while Accuweather showed it to the SW (good Grants wind). Hoping Accuweather was right and apparently it was. It averaged 21G25 for the 1st 1.5 hours which gave me wild screaming rides and planing out of the jibes 8:00-9:30 on my 115L. Felt pretty pumped as I was thinking from Monday’s experience I might be stuck on the 135L the rest of the season to make the most of the short reach. By 9:45 I was on the 135L making the most of some nice, mellow wind. Quit before the wind did. Glad for my cleanup campaign Monday as it was nice to pull in to a fairly pristine beach. Now if I could do something about the long walk. And you get by the dike in the early morning when it is shaded and you would think it is 10 stories tall (it is only 3.5 stories). 4 boats around but I only fought one slow boat that kept trolling North/South in the middle of the lake and I almost got hit by a lure cast by a fisherman in the shadow of the dike. Still, I was ready to drag race anyone. Lake us down far enough the launch is gooey mud. Still, had a great morning.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
