Delayed heading over for 1.5 hours as the radar had me thinking it was raining. By 8:00 the radar looked pretty promising and I headed out fast. Turned out it hadn’t rained at all. It averaged 27g32 from 9:40 when I hit the water to 1:40 when I pulled off exhausted. That’s some serious wind and it went considerably longer than usual. Clouds led to several up and down wind cycles but it was well filled in. It peaked at 31g36 at 11:00 and 12:45. Had 3 sesh’s on the 6.0 when it was averaging 27 or below and 2 sesh’s on the 4.7 when it was 28 or above. Wished I had rigged the 5.2 also but too lazy to haul it to the water. The little iSonic Gorge-board was screaming the whole morning. Very gusty by the dike which led to white knuckle turns and some crash or be killed events. Temps stayed in the high 50’s most of the sesh which wasn’t bad for this time of year. It sprinkled for a few seconds around noon but the rain never made it past the Stansburys. Sunny last hour of the sesh. They even stocked the lake while I was there. Should have had my fishing gear.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
