7/15 Rush

I thought it was going to be another afternoon at the Salt Ponds, but the south wind kicked up enough to ride at Rush. Flew a 16M Waroo and a 132 FLX Underground board (with no fins) fully powered most of the time with a bigger holes late in the day. Late in the afternoon, the wind started switching to the west signaling that the thermal off the lake had picked up enough to start messing up the south. Packed up my gear at 5. The water at the usual launch spot is getting very shallow. However, there is a good section right at the south end of the wooden fence. The water there is around 6" deep in the middle. Had the place all to myself again. Just the horse flies around to harass me.
