Not much on the wind meter when I got up at 5:30. Went anyway at 7:00 on a hope. No wind at airport or the Grants irrigation office but blowing especially hard by the time I got to the cattle guard. Lake covered with whitecaps and my wind meter reading 17-21. Changed my mind on the 5.2 and went with the 6.0 on a small board. Had a blast. Got a little hairy when wind got to 26g34mph but was probably the right call for the whole 1.5 hours. Wind started disappearing fast after 10:00. I was the only windsurfer with 4 wingers. Great morning.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
