It started blowing at my house about 10:00am but I had to go to the dentist for a quick visit. I left for the beach at 11:10am and was on the water at 11:30 with my brand new 6.6L Naish sail and my 131 carve. I came in after 1&1/2 hrs to take a break and try my 100L New Naish board.
I was totally powered and enjoying the increased manuverablity of the smaller board. After about another 1&1/2 hrs, the holes started to get bigger and I had other things to attend to so I packed it in. Outstanding day for Deer Creek with many gusts over 30mph and the 6.6 handled it well.
