Arrived around 4:30p to see Rick H. make is last short reach. Rigged and waited. Around 5:30p the wind came up just as two kiters (Spencer, and ??? sorry I forgot your name this morning) were heading off for UL. They turned around and rigged.
I got about 40 minutes of solid planing before it went to glass and I had to swim in. Normally my late afternoon sessions consist of a few minutes here and there of planing.
Unfortanately the kiters got snookered. When they were ready to go the wind shutdown. They did manage a few very short rides later.
