Locals on the road

The Ozone van took off for a quick Cali tour last Monday, and we've had great conditions across the coast. Flew 9 meter Instincts in Rio Vista, then headed to the bay where 3rd ave was blowing, and we continued on to Pacifica to paraglide over the coast. Next stop was heading south for Waddell and its good wave predictions. We watched the surf with no wind and continued southward. Light wind at Pismo gave way to better conditions at the Ventura pier. When we hit Seal beach in Huntington, we finally hit 13m conditions again and had a great time in the small breakers. The next day in Coronado turned out big kite rides on Surf boards on the Silver Strand...it was amazing to be flying a 15m in only 8-10 knots.

Yesterday we are back in the Belmont shores area and today is looking like 13-15 meter kites at Sunset beach.

If anyone from Utah heads south check out Kites etc. or Cali Kites for the DL on So Cal winds and locations.

Brian Schenck
