Thursday 10/27 DCIB

A beautiful, sunny late autumn afternoon. Air temp in the mid-40s, water temp still mid 50s, wind 10-15 MPH and quite steady by DC standards. The annual algae bloom is under way, but pretty mild - no residual slime on the equipment.

Jim, I'm a lttle confused -- you mean Thursday the 26th or Friday? Friday's record of Arrowhead or Dam Chute didn't show much wind. Did it blow? What sail were you on (which day)? I'm mulling it over for today. Tomorrow looks good.

I'm thinking he meant Thursday. Sunday looks promising. Glad to see he was able to sail at Island Beach. Tomorrow may, in fact, be just about the end of it for me. Looking for a start time of 1-3pm. If it comes up over the dam I'll give it 30-60 min to get to IB. Hope me backup wetsuit works. The 1st string suit blew a seam from the shoulder to the waist.

Cross your fingers for tomorrow although I think it's a pretty solid bet.

I'm the one who was confused; it was Thursday, and I was on a 6.6.
