1/12 and 1/15 Pineview

The winds were nukin in the valley on Friday so I figured that Pineview would be a good bet. The winds were very gusty and didn't always go down the canyon. They actually switched 180 degrees several times and blew towrds Huntsville. After the wind switched one more time @ 2:30 I was going to give it up but then it started going down canyon fairly seriously, so I rode until dark. Overall it was pretty good though. I kited for 5 hours.
Yesterday I was headed to Powder Mountain but stopped at Pineview just to check it out. The wind was even better than Friday and I thought that it was surely warmer than Powder Mountain. I stayed for about 4 hours. The wind was only about 8mph but the surface is flat glare ice with 4-5 inches of snow on top. You can go pretty good with litle power.
