It wasn't supposed happen at DC yesterday. Almost invariably on the day after a frontal passage, the wind at DC is still out of the SW, but horribly gusty (even worse than usual!) And that's pretty much how it looks on the printout: http://homepage.mac.com/jsouthwick/PhotoAlbum82.html

But it was actually the best day I've had so far this season! It looked pretty holey when I arrived at about 12:30, but filled in nicely by about 1:15, providing powered-up to VERY powered-up conditions for my HS96/6.6m^2 setup. I later switch down to a 6.0 just, as it turned out, as the wind was starting to back off and clock around to the North.

Definitely a bonus day!
