Greeted by a light breeze from the west when we arrived at 12:30. Got in about half an hour of off-and-on planing before a very dark cloud appeared on the western horizon. While Angela and I were waiting for it to blow away, Kevin arrived, and by the time he was rigged and ready the cloud had passed to the south, and the wind had started to pick up. For the next couple of hours we had gusty but mostly planable conditions as we got progressively more over powered. I switched down to the 5.3 that Angela had been using and got some very powered up rides on that; Kevin hung in there on his 7.1. At 4:30 another dark cloud appeared, and I used that as an excuse to quit even though the wind speed was still in the high 20s with gusts into the mid 30s. Kevin may still be sailing. A couple of fishing boats, two PWCs that stayed downwind from where we were sailing, no whitetrash whitecaps.
