Dave O' was on the water when Angela and I arrived at about 1. There were dark clouds forming to the West and South, and the wind was intermittent, but Dave was definitely getting some good planers on his 6.x. Josh arrived not long after we did, and concluded that a 6.something was probably the best compromise. We were next joined by a couple of representatives of the kiting community and last (but certainly not least) by John and Troy Dubock. The wind remained gusty but sailable as cloud shadows came and went, and by about 4:30 everyone started packing up - at which point the wind seemed to steady out in the 18 to 25 MPH range. :?
