Tom and I rigged 7.5's at about 2:30ish, Eric on a 6.5... noodled around for a couple of hours, planning off and on... wind never really got going enough for the 7.5. Left at 5:00 as Carl hit the water on a 9.0 and seemed to be doing much better!

Finally met the famous John Freed, unfortunately he had been there a while and was packing up. The white caps kept coming so I rigged the Windwing on a 125 liter hyper and went out with another sailor after John and Eric left. It was going pretty good when they left but things upped a notch at around 5:30 giving us more juice to work with. Clocked a couple carp pretty hard but no damage: hyper 2, carp 0; I think there's fewer collisions at PH and SSB, maybe the fish lie deeper over there. Non stop rides until after six when the sun went behind the hill and I cruised in to derig on the convenience turf. It sure is awful nice of them to keep it all mowed and everything.

ps For SALE: Gaastra 10.9 nitro IV, rigged 3 times, immaculate, $175, see to believe, yadda yadda. Seriously, it's showroom.
Pulls like a tractor; lots of get up and go.
