HOLA from South Padre Island,
Kiting on smooth, flat water that's only 2-5 feet deep, sounds like RUSH but it's STEADY wind, 3 days ( Sun, Tues, Weds),, on 16 M with one day(Mon) on 7 & 9 M (thanks to Wilma). it has been cool, it is a good thing we brought some neoprene. Gulf has seen the biggest surf, in years but winds were on shore, so we've stayed in the bay. What a great place to work on tricks. Looks like more to come. Snoooze you lose to all those who bailed on us at the last minute.

My recomendation while in Padre is the shrimp that ya get on the far end of the island near the boat harbour. Its called something like Bobs Bait Box. It is a tiny little store by the trailer camp. That guy cooked up some of the best shrimp. It is a real cheap place to get a beer and a killer basket of shrimp. Anyway have fun for the rest of us. It looks like hopes for a good weekend and last trip of the year at SSB are getting washed away with the rain.
