Had a nice solo session at DC BWB. Flew 16 dyno nugget with plenty of power from 4 till dark; Nice sunset. Water temp was fine; air temp was lovely, and the sun was big and warm until it hide behind Timp. Tmw look like a much better forecast and about the same temps. Then it should get cold and snow....

Glad you got the goods. I would have joined you but I was a little sedated having a plate and seven screws taken out of my leg. While they were in there, they did some clean up work in between my tibia and fibula. I probably won't bother / be in a ski boot again until Dec 3rd, so I'm out of the game for a bit. Of course last time I was told I couldn't kite until December and I was out in late August. :))) Looking forward to getting back at it after some rest!

You may have been alone at BWB, but you weren't alone on the lake. I had a short but pleasant session on my biggest stuff (9.5m sail, kids formula board) down at Chucktown; saw you up at BWB and headed for shore pronto when your kite disappeared from view. As you say, because of the sunshine, it didn't feel too cold, although by the end of the session (about 4:30 in my case) the air temp above the water was about 42ºF, water temp about 46ºF.
