I showed up at 4 to see peter and chase out ripping on 12 and 13 and just in time to give brads zephyr a launch...(yeah zephyr). I thought he was crazy, but it was just right for him. I got a solid hour of riding before the wind let up just a bit and i started losing ground so i came in. I rolled up and got ready to leave when i saw a thick dust cloud down by the point by lincoln beach. The crazy wind was on its way so i took off. Great day to kite and in a shorty too.

Ps. I have to pay respect for the awesome rescue by peter today...he really risked his butt going so far downwind with crazy wind coming up fast. He didnt even question...he asked me to launch him and he hauled down past the ponds for the save then zipped way back up and put the kite down literally seconds before the strong gusty crap hit. Go pete! Im glad i get to kite with a guy like you. Who knows what would've been had you not done that...maybe no big deal just a long walk...maybe hypothermia???

Hat's off to Peter for saving my rear. went out too far then Wind went a lite got my line tangled and here comes peter. He grabs my board then drops it off and then comes back and says hook your safety strap on back of his harness and dragged me and my kite back to shore then he zig zag'ed back to shore just as huge wind line hit.
Water was great not cold with wet suit.

THanks a lot
you are the man Peter..

Great quick light wind session yesterday. Enjoyed the company while waiting for the wind Chase. Thanks for the launches Jake.

I was also impressed by Peter's tow in. Go Pete!
