Wind was strongest on Thursday, but also had the biggest holes. Rode 11M and then tried 14, went back to 11M. Fully lit when the wind was on, kite fell out of the sky a few times in the lulls. Air was cold!
Friday the wind was a tad lighter, rode 13M with middling power. Switched to a 12M foil and rode lit. Kite never fell out of the sky, but it was still pretty holey at times. Air and water were colder than Thursday.
Saturday the wind was much more filled in, but lighter still. Rode 21M fully powered, lots of fun and much warmer temps.
It was fun to ride with windsurfers all 3 days. Some of the usual crowd was out on the water. Jon M. seems to be enjoying the pleasure of not having to remember what day of the week it is anymore. Marty rode 11m Edge with me on Thursday. Dave and Erik Holmgren were there on Friday, but only Erik showed up on Thursday. A few other kiters joined us as well.
