Kiteboarding Punta Chame Panama

Postby Trip Houk » Fri May 02, 2008 10:17 am

Since we were talking last night about new and potentially exciting places to sail, I thought I'd mention Panama.
Judi and I went to Panama on vacation in January. While we were there, some friends told us about a place called Punta Chame which is about 1/2 hour south of Panama City. Panama is easy to fly to: direct flights from Atlanta on Delta and the local currency is Dollars. We found it to be friendly, accessable and relatively undeveloped once you leave the city.
If anyone has the time and inclination to explore please share your experience. Here are a few links.

p.s. Thanks to all those responsible for a fun evening at Brewvies. We look forward to sharing some time on the water with all of you again sometime soon.
