Where to Ride 5/20

Windy by PM today. Grants has nearly planable conditions now, and I'm betting
it will spike up to around 6M conditions by 10 AM or so, then die down, then return
around 5 or 6 PM. Rush will be gusty, but Kiteable most of the day with a mid afternoon lull
around 1 PM. Be prepared for the South wind to ramp up dramatically (maybe into the
8M Kite range) around 3 PM and stay up till dusk. DC should be up around Noon for your
6.5M sailing pleasure, and last all afternoon/evening. UL launches will start to see
Ridable conditions around 3 Pm and ramp up into the 5.5/10 range by about 5 PM. Windsurfers
should probably head for MM19, while Kiters will see the goods at Lindon, ULSSB, and Lincoln.
Kiters be careful out there, strong gusts may blast through at Rush and UL. Warm today,
but you'll lose your sunshine in the PM.

Weds looks like solid North wind at UL and Rush. Kiters will get more 10M stuff at Rush
most of the day, with cold overcast rainy skies. Likewise Ul launches will provide
solid 5M sailing (or 10M Kiting) PM. Again look for an occasional gust to
rumble through, and don't forget your rain gear.

Thursday looks like lighter, but still plenty planable cold North wind at UL and Rush.

Stay safe and have fun out there,

-Craig
