Awesome New snowkite board!

I just need to rave about the new snowkite board that Robby designed for OZONE. It is incredible!! $ of us went out riding it on yesterday at Skyline. Heather, Rob, Brian and me. We all have different riding styles and we all LOVED it! Instantly you are going up wind, I had to do several turns just to go downwind. It carves nice, turns nice, and no chatter on the hard pack. It is so incredibly nice, it is the first true snowkite specific board that I have tried and can truelly see a difference. He just had the prototypes out but I think it is a where it needs to be so look for the production coming out soon for next winter. As for this snow season, I think it will be going for a bit longer with all the snow up there still.

That Awesome that they are going to push the snowkiteboard specific. Snowkiteboard does make a different with your riding. I can't wait to see their boards.

I think the snow-kite board manufacturers need to make a split-decision style board with skins for a total back-country kiting solution. The wind dies - hike-out's no problem. encounter a patch of trees going up a mountainside - no problem - wind's dead and you just want to get out & tour a bit - no problem - just throw the skins on and if the wind comes up you're a couple minutes away from ready to go. That'd be something I'd buy!!

Voile makes a split kit that can transform any board into a split. they have had it for years. soe of us hae talked to them about making a split for the snow kiting but there is not enough of a market at this time. try the split kit. I heard it works great and is easy to do.
