Condolences to Layne, Cindy Peterson & family.

*For those in the UWA who know the Petersons.

Some things really put life into perspective and remind us what is most important. Layne informed me yesterday of the passing of his father a week ago who was an amazing person that was in great spirit and health. It's the amazingly nice and service oriented person that your Dad was Layne that makes me want to announce this. This is a really big surprise to those of us who knew him. I knew Layne's Dad quite well and am very, very sorry to hear about his passing. He lived across the street from my ex-girlfriend, Kelly, and was always so nice and helpful to us. And he really was a great support to her across the street. Layne didn't want to this to be a "buzzkill" however, life is marbled and the good comes with the bad...

If you know Layne, just know that he got many of his great qualities from his Dad. My condolences are with you Layne and Cindy and the whole family... Also prayers are with your stepfather, Cindy, for a recovery from his heart attack and subsequent bypass surgery...

Layne emailed this to me and I'll leave it here for a bit. He lived too good of a life not to pass this on. Thx for sharing Layne.
