Snow Forecast

Postby windzup » Tue Nov 04, 2008 8:02 am

As of Monday morning there is 3-4 inches at milepost 14 on Skyline. The bottom inch must have been wet and cold as it formed a thick icy base layer (good for freezing to the surface and holding base in.)

Here's the Forecast for Tuesday:
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM
MST WEDNESDAY.

THIS ADVISORY IS FOR THE WASATCH PLATEAU AND BOOK CLIFFS AS WELL
AS THE CENTRAL UTAH MOUNTAINS.

STORM TOTALS OF 8 TO 16 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED BY LATE WEDNESDAY.

..... So it is unlikely, but possible that Snowkite rides could happen at Skyline from Wednesday afternoon on. All depends on how thick the snow is, I hope its not light fluffy powder.
