Sailing Terms and Nomenclature Dictionary

Hi Guys and Gals,
I had hoped for a better response last time, so I'll try again. Awhile back, I started putting together a web page for sailing terms. Well, it grew and expanded beyond sailboarding, but would still be very useful to windsurfers if I had more sailboard definitions on it. The reason I started the page was because I couldn't find a good source of information & illustrations in the first place. I have a lot of definitions on the page for sailboarders, all in blue type; but hope, with your help, to get a lot more.
I've put just about all the info on there that I can think of, but I know that there are a lot of new terms for the new equipment that I don't know. (Gee, whoda thunk I wouldn't know the new equipment?)
Well, anyway, I'm looking for non-brand specific terms and their definitions to add. Information that will help a sailor of any skill level, understand sailing or help buy new or used equipment.

Please check out the page under the "Learn to Windsurf" link at the top of this page; drop down by the Start Windsurfing Right" book cover and click on the link, "Rick McClain's Sailing Nomenclature & Dictionary".
Look my page over, again, windsurfing terms are in dark blue type; and see if you have a serious definition you think the page ought to have on it. If you do, please type it up and send it to me at: Rick@Photographers1.com Remember, it needs to be accurate, because I may not know what it is myself. I'm not looking for local jargon or maneuvers, just real, good global terminology.

Help me put together a great page.

By the Way, if you find any definitions wrong or broken links on the page, let me know, too.

Thanks, Rick McClain - Rick@Photographers1.com
