Any forcast for Soldier?

Postby Mark Johnson » Wed Feb 18, 2009 7:58 pm

I am trying to decide If I should go to the event in Idaho this weekend or just stay here in Utah and ride.
Anyone have any ideas of where the wind will be better?
Mainly for Saturday.

Here is the point forecast for that area.
I wish it looked better.
I've decided not to go.
Wish them all the best, and good winds.

Looks like the same high pressure that is going to plague Utah this weekend is going to be over Idaho as well. They are expecting a small pop on Saturday, but I am not sure how much wind that will bring. We may get lucky here if the ridge is not centered directly overhead. If you want to take a snowkiting trip, Bondurant, Wyoming is looking very good on Thursday and Friday, not sure about the weekend.
