How do I get into this sport?

I've been interested in kiteboarding for the last few years. What's the best way to learn how to do it and get started?

Your best bet is to start out snowkiting. It is easier to learn than kiteboarding on the water. You also want to start out with a lesson or two to learn all about safety issues and the basics of the sport. I would buy a trainer kite before taking lesson. Fly it for 4 - 6 hours, once you are proficient take a lesson.
