Opinions On Boots for Kiteboards

Does anyone have good or bad things to say about full boots vs straps? I am recovering from a broken ankle and several torn ligaments and am looking into boots instead of straps. I'm hoping to find something that's easy to get in and out of, but that holds pretty well when you're in. I'm a size 8 if anyone has anything, but was curious if boots would be better for a weak ankle than straps.

Any thoughts on these...?

boots are much harder on your ankle in a crash then straps, Straps let your foot twist out boots will twist your foot. I couldn't ride boots for months after my ankle blew up

My advise would be to keep riding strapless until you are ready for straps.
