Twisted Kite Snowboard Options

Postby windzup » Sun Oct 25, 2009 3:49 pm

Just a note to locals, since we live in a community surrounded by backcountry options.... The Twisted Velocity Snowboard has already gained a reputation in the last year as an excellent downhill powder board. If you are looking for the ultimate combination, you can have your Twisted Board sent directly to a factory partner who specializes in after market split boards.

Check out these pics below from the first Twisted Split we did last year.

Also, For the resort minded rider, Twisted will be releasing a 50-50, or AM/FM as we're calling it, a traditional Snowboard with the stiffer innards needed for Kite Specific riding, this model will be the perfect cross-over board for resort riders that want to kite on the same board with positive results. The tech in this board goes back to our first proto decks started in the 03/04 season, and perfected for the upcoming decade of Snowkiting. ( side note - Twisted boards are super high quality, with no failures in any protos dating back to the 03/04 models, and no Warranty failures to date in the Twisted Velocity production model).

As ever, Twisted is dedicated to providing Kite Snowboarders with innovative designs that excel your kiting experience, and improve your riding. We have several unique designs that we have been working on behind the scenes, and we are excited to share these during test sessions this winter with you. We are lucky to have Utah as a home testing ground, and we pride ourselves on having local rider feedback in all of our shapes. We look forward to riding with you this winter from the front country to the back country to Kiting Country!
