AK Summer Expedition On Now

Some Snowkiting friends from Alaska are set for an epic adventure that in my opinion, makes any winter Snowkite expedition look like a vacation (they are aren't they?) Troy and Geza are on the beach as I write this, waiting for a clear weather forecast to launch their assault on the Bering Strait. It should be pretty straight forward (pun intended) they just have to kite 100km.

Eddie Bauer and Ozone teamed up to outfit the dynamic duo. If you check out Troys blog you'll see he's a world bound maniac, you may have seen his image in Kiteboarding mag last year, kiting next to an iceberg near Antarctica.

Anyway, I wanted to share this because I am stoked to see some friends set out to reverse the direction that all those Eskimos and Indians traveled oh so long ago.
