Let's help a new member w gear @ Sulper this weekend?

I got an email from Swanney, who I know everyone will look forward to meeting. He sounds like a great guy and amazing windsurfer, who has ended up in Utah and is really missing sailing. He and his S O (significan other) will be coming to our Sulpher Creed Camp Out. I told him that we had a great group, and that we could all help, to put him on some gear this weekend at Sulpher. Now let's all pray for wind! Here's a bit of his background.

ALOHA..
My name is Aaron Swanson, I'm 30 and have been windsurfing since the
age of 9. Spending most of my summers ripping the Gorge and winters
wave sailing on Ho'Okipa Maui. I Sailed on the PWA for a couple years
before a major injury ended my pro career way too soon. I some how
ended up here in Salt Lake to finish my graphic design degree.. I was
super stoked to discover the UWA community and quickly became a
member. My girlfriend and I are planning on attending the camp out
this weekend and I would love to sail however I have only lived in
Utah for a little while and unfortunately all of my gear is rotting
away on Maui. Basically I am wondering If you know of any kind soul
that is going to be at the lake who might have some old gear I could
possibly borrow to rip around on for the weekend? I have been in the
windsurf industry almost my entire life and have an enormous amount of
windsurfing skill, expierience, and loads of super funny, awesome
stories, which I would love to share with all of the UWA members over
the weekend in whatever form to help stoke everybody out and try to
make the camp out one of the best ever. I have not stepped on a board
in almost a year and I'm going bonkers... I will do damn near anything
right about now to just to rip around the rez a few times on some big
ol gear Ya know, or at least hang around the camp fire and talk story
with some windsurfers, because we both know sailers are some of the
coolest people on earth.
Please let me know if I can help in any way this weekend, I figured
It could not hurt to ask about borrowing some gear so I don't have to
sit on the beach all weekend watching and "crying", wile everyone else
enduldges in the best sport ever invented.. If you want to get ahold
of me my cell# is 541-980-0695

ALOHA
Malama PONo
Thanks
Aaron SWANSON AKA SWANNY...

I can bring an extra set. Or he can use my gears since I could be kiting instead. :) Anyway, I will have a 144L Futura and some big sails with me. I will be there on Saturday afternoon.

Nice... Well... I'm sure there will be some rigs there he'll be able to go out on. Not sure if they're going to be high performance enough for somebody who spent summers in the Gorge and winters in Maui at Ho'Okipa... However, I'm sure he'll get some rides on something! Curious to hear what the injury was...
