Rick,
It appears we are good to go, sailing as usual. We are just driving around the spot we had issues with last year.
It is marked much better with fence posts now, and the new road is obvious from the traffic.
Respect the private property we have been allowed to use.
Trash could be the only thing that could cause issues.

Todd, Billy,
I heard a rumor that there will be ramped up Mosquito abatement activities in the Rush Valley.
The little mosquite larvae eating fish could be a big part of that.

Other than that, I have no idea what your talking about???

Weed eaters would be good for cleaning a spot on the beach,
less poky stick weeds would be nice.

I think it would be a good idea if people bring a small garden trowel or shovel with them to Rush Lake. We need to keep the area CLEAN!!! Please bury your poop and toilet paper in a well dug hole. It is unlikely that people will drive into Stockton to take care of business. And please find somewhwere out of view of the various houses on the hill. We don't want our crap jeapordizing access. Thanks!!

Jason,

AMEN!

What would be nice is if somebody has a porta potty to bring. I'm sure somebody does... That would be a great sacrifice... Along with a privacy shield of some kind...

If nothing else, bring a Home Depot bucket.

And to echo what Jason said, we leave it cleaner than when we got it... As usual.

Hi,
I'm sorry to say this, but as of Friday, June 15th, I believe that Rush is over and done for sailboarders for this season. I was out today and not only is the water only about 24 inches deep in the middle, but the weeds are at the surface near the shoreline and only about 6 inches under the surface in the middle. Even using my weed fin didn't help much. The water is so low and the weeds so high that the weed fin couldn't clear itself.
The kiters have it to themselves for the remainder of the summer.

Have fun out there.
