Kauai, HI Kiteboarding?

Heading to Kauai on Friday for a week of tropical bliss, wondering if anyone has any inside info on he summer conditions there/spots to ride/if it's worth taking gear.. i have my tee times booked, but just wondering which other toys I should take

Just got back Sunday from Kauai after 10 days on the island. Definitely worth taking the gear. There is good kiting along the East side of the island. I'd recommend something like a 10m and 13m. I rode 10m 3 days while I was there and could have ridden all but 2 days if I had a bigger rig. Give me a call and I'll give you some details on locations and things to check out on the isle.
