Sulpher Creek Campout August 24th and 25th.

This is an Invite to all Wind Chasers to come to the Utah Windriders, Camp out at Sulpher Creek. We have the parking lot reserved, Friday the 24th thru Sunday the 26th. Bring your, tent, trailer, car, van or sleep under the Wyoming sky. It's always a fun weekend, especially if there is wind, and we ordered a big bunch of it. Hopefully we will have our famous Chef Rick boiling up some Crick Critters, which is always delicious. And our new Gorge racer, Josh Shirley, may run some races, maybe clinics, depending on conditions. I think most know where to find Sulpher Creek, but if not, go ahead and post your questions here.

Anywhere from 1 to 5000... Just Kidding... Usually on a great wind forecast we get 40-60 sailors out on the water and it is an absolute blast... If the wind forecast is not good we still usually have at least 50 campers... You have the beautiful Uintah mountain range as your backdrop... It is a lot of fun regardless... You are able to share experiences, hear of other's trips around the world for the year, and sit around the campfire with great company, Josh is offering a free beginner windsurfing clinic in the morning on saturday for anyone who'd like to attend.

If you've ever had an authentic "Cajun Crawfish Boil" and liked it... You'll want to come on up if only for that on saturday night... If wind is served up, the weekend is usually an amazing surprise to most newcomers! Those who've experienced the good ones know how much fun it can be... So come on up, plan on being hungry saturday night because the crawfish boil is on. By the way, the kids have a blast catching the crawfish all day long for the feast... Hope to see you there!

Hey Rick,
Thanks for a great time out at sulpher. You put on a great crawdaddy event. Thanks to all who were friendly and inviting.
Heading back to San Diego tomorrow. Sorry I left so early but the 45 degree temps froze the dog.

Also got to meet your friendly local Wyoming sheriff. He let me off with a warning, thank God.

Until next time,

Happy Sailing
