Here is an interesting email I got from a Colorado forum. It might be a fun road trip!
The Kite Ranch at Lake McConaughy (a.k.a. Big Mac) in Nebraska will be
having an Open House on Memorial weekend. They will have hot dogs, pop
and free hugs(ha ha) on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10-3pm. Come
check out the shop and meet the owners, Bob and Billie Stalker.

They will be open for business June 1st, 2007. Lessons are available
and they have certified instructors on staff.

If you'd like to rent a camper to make your stay at the lake
comfortable, give them a call.
