Lost kiteboard returned - 2 years later!

Got a call over the weekend from someone who said his kids found the "wakeboard" I lost on Utah lake. I lost the board 2 years ago. They actually found it last fall, but as he said, they put it in the barn and forgot about it - I'm thinking the kids probably brought it home and stashed it in the barn so they could keep it, and the father recently found it. Regardless, happy to get it back and still in good shape, not overly faded. I lost it in spring 2010 kiting at lincoln. I was out on my big kite in 15mph winds when it suddenly ramped to over 30mph. I ended up getting separated from my board and was happy just to make it in alive. I rigged small gear and went back out and spent an hour looking for it until it got dark. Just gone. the wind stayed N overnight and I went back the next day with a kayak and spent 2-3 hours looking along the shore. Just gone. The board was found on bird island. Always write your name and number on your boards, you might get lucky.
